Waivered Services recipients “waive” certain federal requirements to allow states to offer more flexible services to specific populations, usually outside of institutional settings like hospitals or nursing homes. We provide home and community-based services (HCBS) to persons with disabilities and persons aged 65 and older.
These are the services we provide under the HCBS program:
- Basic Support Services including:
- 24-hour emergency assistance
- Adult companion services
- Homemaker
- Night supervision
- Personal support
- Respite care (in home)
- In-Home Support Services including:
- Medication management
- Independent living skills
